Hip Chicks Couture offers an eclectic mix of vintage and retro handbags, shoes, accessories
and women's clothing from the 60's, 70's and 80's. We love the fashion from these decades - the colour, the
quality and the fun styling. We source all of our items locally from op shops, church fetes and private clients and lovingly
clean. repair and refresh these beautiful items to their former or sometimes faded glory.

In a former life I had the enviable job of being the David Jones handbag buyer for 12 years and travelled the
world with other accessory and shoe buyers sourcing products
Hip Chicks Couture started out as a hobby, collecting
beautiful old handbags from op shops, however I then fell in love with the shoes, the belts and the clothing, just begging
me to take them home. How could I refuse?
So I decided to re-engerise them and release them back into the fashion
world to the discerning vintage customers I have had the pleasure to meet at the fairs, markets and now at my little shop
in the antique centre.
It is my intention to show highlights of my current collections on this web site, however I am
exhibiting at the Sydney Vintage Clothing, Jewellery & Textiles Show from the 15th October to 17th October 2010 and do
not want to disappoint by displaying product that will not be available. So if you can get to the biggest Sydney vintage fair
of the year, with over 60 dealers from all over Australia do so. It's an absolute buzz. (Details next page)
